Iris sibirica, kosaciec syberyjski jest rośliną wieloletnią dorasta do 50-120 cm wysokości. Liście są sino zielone, wąskie i dość sztywne w kształcie zaostrzonym , 40-80 cm długości i 2-4 cm szerokości, kwiaty są typowe dla irysów , niebieskie, Dobrze rośnie na wilgotnym brzegu stawu w pełnym słońcu lub częściowo zacienione.
